Nestled at the top of the Tarset Valley, this 60-acre estate boasts a charming aesthetic surrounded by extensive estate gardens that your wet-nosed pal will go barking mad for. The East Wing of this spacious property offers plenty of quiet nooks for your four-pawed pal to doze, dreaming of the wonderful surrounding estate.

After a long day’s adventure, you’ll be spoilt for choice with five comfortable bedrooms located on the ground floor, two bedrooms upstairs and a further four bedrooms accessed via the courtyard; each boasting superb attention to detail not to be sniffed at. Let your pup soak up the morning sun whilst you enjoy dining alfresco on one of the two balconies, before leading the way through the central courtyard and out to explore the estate’s 60 acres of open countryside and woodland that your pup will go mutts for.

Northumberland National Park is on the doorstep, offering several walking routes for you to explore with your canine companion and plenty of cycle trails to enjoy the picturesque views on two wheels if your four-legged friend can keep up. Lead the way from the doorstep along the Reivers Route cycle trail to Black Middens Bastle House 1 mile away, a distinctive 16th-century farmhouse that you and your pup will enjoy rambling around.

This is a great place to stay if you appreciate peace, quiet and seclusion and good quality accommodation. The bedrooms are excellent with en-suite facilities and (with one exception) provided excellent warm showers. The lounge facilies are reminiscent of a small good quality officers mess and the kitchen well equipped for catering up to 20 people.Read more There is an attractive courtyard and plenty of places to sit and relax. The dining hall is like something out of a Harry Potter film! Outstanding! Hide

Perfect for groups and families who like their own space to relax or party. Ensure you take everything you need as shops in the village are small and not well stocked, not open on Bank holidays. If it is important to you recycling rubbish is not available so we brought our tins, bottles & cardboard home for recycling.
