This cottage is perfect for a ‘get away from it all’ break for couples and small families. A pet-friendly cottage is cosy and full of character surrounded by nothing but peace and tranquillity.
Providing a picture-perfect location for a couple or small family with their dog, this holiday home in the Peak District has its own private woodland which is perfect for exploring. Everyone will enjoy staying here for a getaway with fantastic walks right from the doorstep. The beautiful rolling countryside can be seen from the property, with wildlife keeping any dogs’ noses entertained.
Inside, (through a low door), guests will enter a hallway which is the perfect place to store muddy boots and wipe down muddy dogs. What makes keeping the house mud free even easier is the separate utility room which can be entered from outside. Through the hallway, guests can go straight into the kitchen/diner which is a sociable space well equipped for making delicious meals. The lounge is very cosy, and the perfect place for everyone to retire after a day out hiking. Upstairs are two bedrooms - the master has a king-size bed while the second bedroom is a single. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath so you can easily relax, soaking away your muscles in the tub. The outdoor space is a real selling point of the property - with a private patio accessible via a flight of external steps. You can sit here on the outdoor furniture and enjoy the fresh air and views with other seating areas to enjoy also, or why not explore the 3 acres of private woodland making it ideal for letting the dogs out.
One of the best things about the property is the peaceful location. You can’t help but get away from it all here with so many hikes from the property’s front door. There are also many towns with dog-friendly pubs that will welcome beloved pets with open arms, with some offering your pooch a tasty treat. Longnor, for example, is a quaint cobbled village just 2 miles away.
