Experience modern eco-living in this charming lodge with a living sedum roof and energy supplied by sustainable sources. Wood-clad on the outside, the interiors are anything but rustic. Bright and airy, light floods in from floor-to-ceiling windows that captivate the eye thanks to the gorgeous countryside beyond. Relax on the sofas in front of the gas fire that your furry friends are sure to love too, or gather around the dining table for a family meal accompanied by views to die for. There is a fully fitted modern kitchen along with an island with a breakfast bar. Three inviting bedrooms await (two zip-and-link twins and a double); whether you sleep in a bed or a basket, a good night's sleep will be had by all in this quiet rural location. Outside, cook up some of Fido's favourite sausages on the gas BBQ and as dusk arrives, settle down on the enclosed decked area for some al fresco dining against the magnificent backdrop of rolling hills and wooded valleys. There’s also a children’s play area and a sunken trampoline on-site.

Picturesque walks begin at your door, or you can pay a visit to the farm’s woodland, which is full of interesting sights, sounds and smells for Rover to investigate. Located less than a mile away, down the farm track, there's a pub and a well-stocked local shop for any last-minute essentials. The beautiful university city of St Andrews, home of UK golf, is less than 10 miles west and for a dog-friendly day out a the seaside, visit West Sands Beach (7.5 miles), where four-legged friends are welcome to bound around on this sweeping shoreline year-round.

Fantastic lodge in a beautiful part of Fife. Had everything we needed and Stephen was a great host. The play things and trampoline were great for out young kids and Willies wood was beautiful. Lots of great days out nearby.

I really dont want to give this the true review it deserves as it is SUCH a gem I wouldnt want everyone else to book it. The lodge is well appointed with everything you will need for your stay. Stephen the owner is friendly, approachable and available should you need him. What truly sets this lodge apart is the iconic views out over Fife towards StRead more Andrews and the Eden river. They are absolutely stunning. Everyday provide a new vista. Everyday makes you smile!! Hide
