This family home has something for everyone: a choice of social spaces, a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom, and an enclosed garden – all close to one of Cornwall’s top dog-friendly beaches.
Leave coats and leads in the entrance hallway and, to one side, there’s a cosy lounge where you can stretch out and watch the Smart TV while, on cooler evenings, Rover can warm his paws in front of the open fire. Alternatively, head to the snug at the rear of the house where there’s a second TV plus a selection of books and games, including table football; double doors onto the garden could well make this Fido’s favourite chill out room. A kitchen/diner equipped with every holiday essential is contemporary and comfortable, with a wood burner and windows onto the garden on three sides. Additional useful must-haves – including a washing machine and tumble dryer – are in the utility room, and completing the ground floor layout are a beautiful king-size bedroom and stylish family bathroom. Upstairs, there’s a twin bedroom with field views and a generous king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. At the end of a busy day, the garden complete with a choice of seating areas, is a great place to wind down. Rover can roll on the lawn while you relax… he’ll be right by your side once the BBQ is fired up!
This detached holiday home is just 2 miles from Perranporth, location of the UK’s only bar on the beach – a welcome watering hole for dogs and their well-behaved owners at any time of year. The beach here offers a 3-mile stretch of golden sands – leads are a peak season requirement – perfect for walks and playing ball, while those with boundless energy can follow the South West Coast Path further afield; Newquay is 7 miles east.
