  • Come home and relax in front of the wood burner after a day exploring picturesque harbour towns and unique attractions
Property code: 88404

This family home has something for everyone: a choice of social spaces, a ground-floor bedroom and bathroom, and an enclosed garden – all close to one of Cornwall’s top dog-friendly beaches.

Leave coats and leads in the entrance hallway and, to one side, there’s a cosy lounge where you can stretch out and watch the Smart TV while, on cooler evenings, Rover can warm his paws in front of the open fire. Alternatively, head to the snug at the rear of the house where there’s a second TV plus a selection of books and games, including table football; double doors onto the garden could well make this Fido’s favourite chill out room. A kitchen/diner equipped with every holiday essential is contemporary and comfortable, with a wood burner and windows onto the garden on three sides. Additional useful must-haves – including a washing machine and tumble dryer – are in the utility room, and completing the ground floor layout are a beautiful king-size bedroom and stylish family bathroom. Upstairs, there’s a twin bedroom with field views and a generous king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. At the end of a busy day, the garden complete with a choice of seating areas, is a great place to wind down. Rover can roll on the lawn while you relax… he’ll be right by your side once the BBQ is fired up!

This detached holiday home is just 2 miles from Perranporth, location of the UK’s only bar on the beach – a welcome watering hole for dogs and their well-behaved owners at any time of year. The beach here offers a 3-mile stretch of golden sands – leads are a peak season requirement – perfect for walks and playing ball, while those with boundless energy can follow the South West Coast Path further afield; Newquay is 7 miles east.

Lovely house in the village of Rose. 3 good sized bedrooms with a lovely kitchen diner. A nice back garden to sit out in and plenty of room for 2 cars to park on the drive. Bus 87 which runs from Truro to Newquay via Perranporth was really useful, catching it at Rose Crossroads and saves walking up the steep hill from Perranporth

The property is advertised as being on the edge of Perranporth but it is up the hill in Rose. The footpath to the beach was totally overgrown and impassable. The climb from Perranporth back to rosetook 45 minutes on lanes with no footpaths, not suitable for children or the infirm. Be careful getting and out of the driveway, it was clear previous guRead moreests had their vehicles damaged in their attempts. Hide

Downstairs bed was uncomfortable. Garden was tiny and getting on and off the drive was difficult. Perranporth was lovely and the property is conveniently situated for getting to other places. Enjoyed our stay and our 2 labradors enjoyed staying with us as well as the beaches nearby

Good value for money. Lots of space. Enclosed garden for dogs was a plus. Might be a bit basic for some, but understandable as dogs are allowed. Good location for visiting local area . It was nice and quiet.
