One of a number of holiday cottages sitting on the banks of the River Lynher, this pretty, single-storey lodge makes the perfect getaway for a family and their four-legged friend, with an open-plan living space and a wood burner. There are shared facilities on site, including a swimming pool, tennis court, and doggy walkies area, and South Cornwall’s beautiful beaches and attractions are nearby.

The family-friendly lodge has plenty of space to enjoy time together in a relaxed setting. Step into the spacious lounge/kitchen/diner with a cosy wood burner in the brick fireplace, plush sofas, a TV, and a dining table and chairs. The contemporary kitchen space features everything you need to prepare tasty family meals. You’ll find two pretty bedrooms, a double with lovely wooden furniture, and a triple room with bunk beds and a single bed – both have good storage space in the wardrobe and chest of drawers. There’s also a family bathroom and a second separate WC. Sit outside on the picnic bench in the garden while the kids play on the shared lawn area, have fun on the tennis court, children’s play areas, and a heated outdoor swimming pool (summer months only), and let the pup run in the field and woods.

Head out to explore the 15 miles of walking and cycling routes at Tamar Trails Centre (13 miles), you can also try tree surfing and archery there. Go for pretty walks along the coast on the South West Coast Path (8 miles) and take Fido for a run on the many beaches nearby, including Kingsand where canines are welcome all year (14.5 miles). Have a thrilling day out at Adrenaline Quarry (8 miles) at the aquapark, hanging off a zip wire and go-karting.

• 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
• There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
