This beautifully finished cottage, one of a pair on-site, offers single-storey, open-plan accommodation ideal for couples travelling with a pet. Inside, sink into comfortable sofa seating after a day of discovery while the day's chef gets busy in the fully equipped kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare a meal. The dining table is perfectly positioned to make the most of the views, while your canine companion relaxes at your feet. When it’s time for bed, the cosy double bedroom offers a peaceful space to rest, complete with sliding frosted glass doors for added privacy. The TV is thoughtfully positioned to allow viewing from both the lounge and the bedroom, and the bathroom includes an extra-large walk-in shower. We had a well needed week away, cottage was comfortable and well equipped, Phil greeted us when we arrived and showed my husband how to work the hot tub, we only used the hot tub once but a nice extra, stunning views and amazing how the landscape changes depending on the weather, despite the weather being very unpredictable we had some lovely days Read moreout and walked miles with the dog, if you enjoy an Indian takeaway then we'd recommend the Akash, just a few minutes drive away. The cottage was perfect for us for a couples break. Everything was very clean and the facilities are excellent. The view from the hot tub of the horseshoe bend of the River Severn is fabulous and we were able to enjoy it each evening. It was so quite at night and just birdsong in the morning and evening. We stayed Friday - Monday. Once we arrived on Friday Mr Turner came over and introduced himself, shown us how to use the hot tub and gave us some fav recommendations ! Cant fault this place at all. Such a great stay! Accommodation was spotless. The hot tub was amazing

We spent a lovely week at this property. Fantastic views, and a short walk into the forest where there are many footpaths. Good central location to visit the rest of the area. Property is well equipped, and was extremely clean on arrival. Owners kindly arranged an earlier check-in time for us as we had been visiting relatives in the area. Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic romantic time away in this lovely cottage. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Photos don't do this place justice, when we got there our expectations were seriously blown away. Would recommend to anyone.

The communication made all the difference. We requested a late check out which was very quickly accommodated, but also Elaine allowed us a very early check in. The cottage was perfect, the views are stunning. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. I cant rate this place highly enough. We will be back

My partner and I had a lovely, albeit brief stay in Horseshoe View. A lovely little cottage with everything you need for a trip away. The beautiful view from the private hot tub was the cherry on the cake. Was a very nice touch to be greeted by Phil and shown around. A very nice personal touch and a lovely guy to chat to. A lovely compact cottage with a view. Don't be put off that the outside area is shared with the cottage next door as there is a privacy screen which you can use. The cottage provides a very peaceful and relaxing break that is well placed to enjoy all that the Forest of Dean has to offer. What a wonderful weekend we had. The property was very clean, comfortable. Everything you needed was supplied. Hot tub was amazing. The area was quiet and relaxing. We had such a good time, we were sad to leave. The hosts were very accommodating and thoughtful. We didnt want to leave. Highly recommend a stay here.

Everything you want and need for a self catering holiday, with some luxury perks. Absolutely all creature comforts have been considered from the kitchen utensils to the mattress, spotless cleanliness, and local information. No expense spared! Very thoughtful owners!
