Surrounded by glorious countryside, this generous manor house makes a fantastic holiday home for larger families or groups of friends seeking a stylish retreat in a stunning part of Cumbria. Providing sumptuous accommodation for up to ten guests and two canine companions, this impressive getaway also offers a private hot tub, a lovely games room, charming living spaces and four beautifully decorated bedrooms. Just a couple of miles from the coastal village of Ravenglass, the property makes a fabulous base for walkers and cyclists exploring the stunning landscapes of the southern part of the Lake District.

This fabulous manor house features a spacious lounge with a welcoming wood burner, Smart TV and floor-to-ceiling windows with original shutters, making an ideal space to sit back and relax. Further seating, books, and a pool table can be found in the stately games room. There’s also a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of the house, providing a fantastic space for everyone to get together, enjoy a meal and chat about the day. Upstairs, you will find four colourful bedrooms: a pretty double, a sweet twin, and two family rooms (one en-suite). There’s also a refreshing bathroom and a separate shower room. Outside, the extensive grounds offer plenty of space for children and pets to roam. There’s a soothing hot tub, along with a large patio with a fire pit and plenty of seating so you can unwind and catch a glimpse of visiting birds and wildlife.

Ravenglass (3 miles) is a thriving coastal village which is home to a number of dog-friendly attractions including a sandy beach, the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway and the remains of the Ravenglass Roman Bath House. Heading inland, there are miles of fells to explore, with Wast Water the nearest of the lakes (10 miles).

We really recommend this property. If you look for privacy, beautiful landscapes, a weekend away this property will give everything you need. Plenty games for older and young kids, area to play for toddlers. For Adults there is a hot tub, poo tablel area. The kitchen has everything you need and its very well maintained an cleaned.

We enjoyed the rural, secluded location and the house is well equipped inside and out. The hot tub and pool table were a great hit with all three generations. In a great location with lovely walks nearby and easy reach to the lakes, and area, giving a nice respite to the busier places such as Windermere. Amazing house which was perfectly set up and ready for a holiday! The house was absolutely spotless and there was loads of room for a big group of people. The location is perfect for climbing up Scarfell Pike.

Wonderful comfortable home - ideal for families and friends to gather - our host was extremely accommodating- nothing was too much trouble It was ideal with our grown up families and friends and our dog was totally spoilt !!!! We had a fantastic holiday! Beautiful, spacious house with lots of little extra thoughtful details to make it special. Games and books. Comfortable beds. Fully equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with the owners. We had a problem with the heating and they sent someone to look at it the same day plus dropped in a heater.
