Ruthin and Mold are well worth exploring during your stay. Both towns are very woof welcoming, with many eateries and shops happy to have four-pawed visitors. Ruthin has a fascinating art trail around the town, as well as a magnificent castle, and Mold is home to the beautiful Loggerheads Country Park and holds regular outdoor markets – the perfect place to pick up delicious produce for your dinner. If it’s woodland walks you and the hound are after, journey to Coed Y Felin (9 miles), where a network of paths criss-cross through ancient trees. There are some excellent paw-friendly beaches nearby, including Rhyl Beach (19 miles) and Colwyn Bay (26 miles).
