There’s plenty to do in Sheringham, including traditional seaside amusements, a range of shops, cafes and restaurants, and even a dog-friendly heritage railway. For a secluded place for walks, try Kelling Beach (5 miles) an awesome 700m stretch of pebbly shoreline reached via an unsigned grassy track by the village war memorial. From here you can stroll to the nearby villages of Cley and Salthouse. Sheringham Park (3 miles), offers 1,000 acres of woodland, parkland and clifftops to explore, with marked trails of between 1 and 5 miles, and Holt Country Park (7.5 miles), has 100 acres of woodland with a tea room, playpark and outdoor sculptures.
