Step straight out from this New England-style holiday home at Camber to explore the picturesque sand dunes with your delighted dog in tow. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom, three-storey retreat is right opposite the rolling dunes that lead into the stretching sands of the beautiful beach. With a courtyard garden too, where family and friends can relax with their canine companion after busy days out, it makes a great base for anyone seeking a dog-friendly stay close to the sea in Sussex.
Open the door and let your happy hound pad through into the airy, open-plan kitchen/diner. Open the French doors in here to the garden on spring and summer days, watch the Smart TV and whip up tasty meals to enjoy at the table. There is also a WC down here, and a handy utility room with a washing machine for dog towels that have been used to rub down sandy paws. The lounge, which has doors to a balcony and another Smart TV, is up on the first floor and is also a great family space. A king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, is also at this level, while a double, a twin and the family bathroom are on the second floor. The outside space at the house is split level, with a lower area where you can light the BBQ on warm evenings and your canine companion can bask in the sunshine. There is also a balcony, where you can relax and take in the views with your cheerful chum at your feet.
Stroll through the dunes to Camber Sands, where most of the beach is free of dog restrictions all year round. Find fabulous walks in the area too, including the 3-mile trail to Rye, which goes along the beach and beside the river.
