This beautiful village retreat offers a light and fresh interior with easy access to the South West Coast Path and remarkable views at every turn. Spend your days exploring the sand dunes, cliff-top trails and rugged Dartmoor National Park before returning to this pretty base, sleeping six guests and one pampered pooch.

Feel an instant sense of calm as you enter this quintessentially coastal home, featuring whitewashed exposed stone walls and sash windows. Soak up muted beach tones and nautical themes as your four-legged friend basks in the open-plan living space in front of the wood burner. When it’s time to eat, make your way into the kitchen to find a selection of handy appliances for putting together delicious dinners before perching around the dining table. Unwind with an after-dinner drink on the stunning terrace up a set of steep steps, which provides spectacular views across Kingswear and the River Dart, and watch as your furry friend sniffs out their new snoozing spot. When it's time for humans to hit the hay, three stylishly designed bedrooms provide a good night's sleep, while a chic bathroom soaks off the day's adventures.

Just a short walk from this property you'll find yourself right in the heart of the quaint village of Kingswear. This charming character hamlet sits on the east side of the River Dart and boasts cute, brightly-coloured houses, local shops, welcoming pubs and the National Trust property, Coleton Fishacre. There are plenty of pet-pleasing walks nearby, including a route across the cliff-top and Little Dartmouth (3.5 miles), a rugged trail which paves the way to an old Civil War hillfort boasting 360-degree views of the town. While some seasonal dog restrictions apply on Blackpool Sands (5 miles), a trip to Strete Gate Beach (7 miles) provides golden sands where pooches are welcome all year round.

• Due to the property being in a residential area and a family home, with regret the owners doe not accept group, hen and stag parties
• Please note the only outdoor space at the cottage is a paved terrace area via some steep steps, but there are dog walking areas close by
• Room to store boots, coats and prams
• Parking available in the local Marina carparks at an additional charge -weekly permits can be purchased.
• Beach 3 miles, pub/restaurant, shop, Post Office, ferry and railway station within walking distance
• There is access on street level to the cottage for the loading and unloading of guests luggage, however, the road does become narrow and some people prefer to reverse back on to the main road
• This property will be decorated for Christmas
• Arrival: 16:00 onwards
• Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
• 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
• There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.
