Just a few minutes walk across the dunes from a beautiful dog-friendly beach, this stylishly decorated, and elegantly furnished bungalow provides a wonderful getaway for families, friends and a canine companion seeking a relaxing holiday in a gorgeous part of West Cornwall. Situated near the thriving little seaside town of Hayle, the cottage has a range of useful features including a crackling wood burner, Smart TV, free-standing roll-top bath, four-poster bed and a charming patio garden. The property has ample space for five human guests and two canine guests, and is just 9 miles from the colourful town of St Ives.

Entering this property, the light-filled open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner makes a wonderful social space for everyone to unwind in at the end of a memorable day, with a central breakfast bar, bi-fold doors and a cosy seating area around the wood burner and Smart TV. There are also three bright and spacious bedrooms: a single and king-size and a super king size with zip and link bed, along with a gorgeous family bathroom. Bi-fold doors lead out from the main living area and onto the patio and lawn which features a delightful seating area with a BBQ and plenty of garden furniture, providing a perfect spot for you and your four-legged pal to relax.

Close to a famous and dog-friendly pub in the picturesque Cornish village of Phillack, the cottage makes a great base for art lovers heading to St Ives to explore galleries including Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. There are plenty of great pubs and cafes in the area where your pets will be welcome and dogs can help you explore local beaches including Mexico Towans, Hayle Towans, Porthkidney and Lambeth Walk, all within a short distance. Also within 10 miles is Tehidy Country Park offering some beautiful walks for your furry companion.

Cottage was fine parking easy even for a xc90! Large potholes in minor roads leading to cottage could be an issue for the unaware.

We had a great week visiting all the local areas and beaches all be it a little wet at times. The bungalow was comfortable and warm to come back to. It had everything you need for cooking your evening meals if need be. Several things would have been good additions bearing in mind the British weather and these have been suggested. The bathroom and kRead moreitchen were both very clean. It does need new windows, some updating of furniture and some new bedding but we had a comfortable family break. Hide

Overall a very impressive bungalow. Extremely well-equipped and spacious open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Bedrooms satisfactory and very clean. Whilst we had a couple of minor issues initially these were sorted very quickly by the owner, who we had the pleasure to meet. It was in his heart to ensure we had a great time. Ideal location especially walking the dog on the dunes and beach. Many beaches around aren't dog friendly in middle of the day, so Mexico Towans beach is ideally located just 10 mins walk over dunes. The Cottage is in walking distance to the lovely sandy Beach, the dog can run free and it is a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The House is very well equipped and the owners are easy to reach and helpful. I would not suggest the house for six people for a long stay, as the third bedroom is really small, but for a Family of four it is exquisit.

Accommodation was exactly as described including the pictures provided we rated the property excellent. The walk to the beach over the dunes was lovely. The location of the property was perfect for visiting other attractions in Cornwall.

Kitchen is amazing, very modern and spotlessly clean. Bathroom is a good size and offers both a seperate bath and a shower unit and is bright and cheery. The owner's left us some lovely treats (thank you very much) the dog also enjoyed hers. Property is in a nice quiet location and a 10-minute walk over the dunes to a massive dog friendly beach.

Great location, short walk to beach. Five minute walk to the pub, very welcoming. 25 minute walk to the train and a short journey to St Ives. Nice comfy bed. Well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery and cutlery. Dishwasher and tabs provided. Even an air fryer! Nice garden & furniture and completely enclosed. Our little dog enjoyed snoozing on thRead moree fake lawn. Neighbours quite noisy early in the morning. If youre taller than 5ft 8 the shower might be an issue. No welcome basket sadly. Hide

Property positioned perfectly for walks with the dogs on to the dunes and coast and then for a stroll down to the pub. Local takeaways very good. Only used the car to get essential supplies. Highly recommend this for a doggy stay.

We enjoyed the proximity to Mexico Towans beach and the open plan living space. There is a modern (and well-equipped) kitchen but some other areas of the cottage would benefit from refurbishment.

Amazing location. Generally well equipped inside, could do with some of the furnishings being revamped and it would be perfect. The garden is lovely - low-ish fence, our dog was fine but others might not be.

We had a wonderful two week stay at Sea Esta. It is situated in a great location being very close to the beach and good walks. Also, it is very peaceful and private being tucked away. The property is extremely well equipped, particularly the Kitchen, and benefits from a lovely open plan lay out.

Nice bungalow, very well equipped, spacious and great location for the beach and surrounding areas. Loved having the Towans on the doorstep. Would throughly recommend Riley the golden retriever appreciated the treats and tennis ball.
