Once famous as a centre for wool production, lively Wadebridge is 9 miles away and you can follow the Camel Trail from here to both Padstow and Bodmin. Alternatively, the South West Coast Path can be accessed at pretty Port Isaac (9 miles), where you can explore the historic fishing harbour and quaint cobbled streets that are popular with movie and TV programme makers.
