A stylish cottage with exposed beams welcomes you with an entrance hall perfect for wiping muddy paws and removing boots. The open-plan lounge/diner/kitchen is spacious, and you can relax on comfortable seating, watch the Smart TV, and enjoy the wood burner. The kitchen has all you need, and French doors lead from the dining area to the decked area outside. Tucked away from the kitchen is a snug complete with a sofa, TV, and access to the decked area. With beautiful, exposed brickwork on the landing, upstairs you’ll find a king-size bedroom with a TV, a second king-size room, and a bathroom. Outside, the decked area provides seating to enjoy a drink or to dine alfresco. Steps lead down into the enclosed garden with a BBQ, small water fountain feature, pond, chimenea and garden furniture, a perfect spot on fine days. Your four-legged friend will love to run around and then rest in the shaded areas.
It is less than 1.5 miles to walk to either Berry Head National Nature Reserve or St. Mary’s Bay where you can access the South West Coast Path. A little further afield Dartmouth Steam Railway (5 miles) will give set tails wagging as you travel by sea, rail, and road. Alternatively, enjoy a walk by the river at Totnes (9 miles) and then explore its outdoor markets and independent shops.
