Beautiful accommodation all on one level in a quiet spot with only horses for neighbours. This retreat has an enclosed garden, outdoor corner sofa, hot tub, and even a doggy shower for your four-legged friends.

This home-from-home former stable block has been given a new leash of life, transformed into a cosy yet elegant sanctuary, with wrap-around countryside views and walks from your doorstep.

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining room invites you and your canine companion to relax on the corner sofa in front of the Smart TV, gather around the dining table to plan the day’s walkies and go mutts in the kitchen to cook the ultimate meal, with a contemporary finish throughout that’ll make even your pup feel pampered. After a long day exploring, head to one of the two spacious, en-suite bedrooms that maintain many original stable features that’ll leave tails wagging. Triple patio doors lead out to the enclosed garden, where you can wash off mucky paws under the handy doggy shower before you dine alfresco or jump into the wonderful hot tub to enjoy delightful views over the fields grazed by horses.

The small rural village of Coddington is bordered to the east by former moorland (Langford and Coddington Moors) and the conifer and birch plantation, Stapleford Woods 2 miles away, offering the perfect woodland walk for your four-pawed pal to fetch plenty of sticks whilst you soak in the fresh air and enjoy the wonderful landscape. Sniff along the banks of the River Trent to lead the way to 42 acres of parkland and landscaped gardens of Kelham Hall and Country Park 6 miles away, with woodland and riverside walks that enjoy the sights of St Wilfrid’s Church, the monk’s graveyard and the Riverside Meadow and Garden.

  • 2 bedroom – 2 king-size zip-and-link beds (which can be made into 2’6" twins on request at time of booking)
  • 2 bathrooms – 1 en-suite bathroom with bath, shower and WC, and 1 en-suite shower room with shower and WC
