This superb cottage has been fully renovated to a high standard. Situated in the chocolate-box village of Georgeham close to the surfing beach of Croyde, it's an idyllic spot to relax and unwind.

Located in the chocolate-box village of Georgeham, this delightful Grade II-listed thatched cottage is less than 2 miles from the famed sands of Croyde Bay and is the perfect base for a family or friends and their four-legged companion to explore North Devon’s stunning coastal countryside. The walks from your doorstep through this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty are sure to set tails wagging. Enjoy the wind in your hair along the South West Coast Path, or take a stroll into ever-popular Croyde, meeting many other pups and accompanying humans along the way.

This picturesque cottage is packed full of original features with chunky wooden beams overhead, exposed stone walls and an impressive inglenook fireplace. There is a clever balance of modem comfort and rural charm on display here. The wood burner found in the cosy lounge is sure to be popular with a particular furry member of the family, as is the second wood burner found in the stylish kitchen. Upstairs, two inviting en-suite bedrooms await weary legs, with sumptuous, super-king-size four-poster beds ensuring a good night’s sleep for all. The garden, with a patio and BBQ area, is the perfect place for a game of fetch, and you won't have to worry about curious minds wandering off as the borders are fully enclosed.

When it comes to sniffing out refreshments, the local pub is 100 meters down the road and has water bowls as well as a jar of dog biscuits on the bar, so everyone feels welcome. The surfer's paradise of Croyde Bay is 2 miles away and is open for doggie visitors between 1 October and 30 April. At nearby Saunton Sands (4 miles), have a ball on the beach year-round with over 4 miles of sweeping shoreline to dash about upon. The high moors and wooded valleys of Exmoor are also within easy reach, and Exmoor National Park encourages well-behaved hounds to join their owners in this spectacular landscape.

We had a lovely holiday at Perrymans -The Mounting Block, the cottage is finished to a very high standard and is very comfortable. We took time exploring the local village, footpaths, beaches and towns which was all very beautiful and restful. Mr. and Mrs. Metrics made us very welcome and were very helpful all through our stay.

Beautifully presented cottage with all the facilities you could need. The village is close to fantastic beaches - 1.5 miles! The village shop and pubs are within walking distance. Had a very relaxing break at Perrymans cottage. We found the location wonderful as beaches are only a very short drive away, especially Putsborough beach which is lovely and dog friendly. The cottage was well equipped for everything you need and beds very comfy. The two local pubs served very good food and only a short walk away. Really enjoyed our stay here, house itself was well fitted out and in really good condition. Georgeham was a great location for getting to the nearby beaches, and the 2 pubs in the village were within easy walking distance and both did good food. Brian and Angela were very welcoming and helpful with local information without being intrusive.

Great comfortable cottage in a convenient location. Owners made us very welcome again giving us ideas for where to go around the area. Two great pubs within walking distance gave the girls a break from cooking!

A very lovely cottage in a nice village close to all the North Devon activities. The cottage is bigger than the photo's might suggest with good sized bedrooms, a decent sized kitchen and a living room that is fine for a family of four to sit round and watch a movie. The village has limited parking on the narrow streets but this cottage has its own Read moreoff street parking from which it is easy to get in and out. Mobile phone signal is limited but the broadband is good. Would stay here again. Hide

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage, and with it being our first time away with a new puppy we had been slightly concerned, however it was perfect from the warm welcome to a beautiful cottage kitted out with everything we would need. Lovely cottage, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Gorgeous village with two good pubs and a well stocked shop. Car required to comfortably reach Beach with all the required paraphernalia. Beach is lovely and also dog friendly. Steps up to small garden. Owners attached but very considerate.
