Luxury coastal house and garden, elevated position in the heart of Aberdovey. Walk to the beach, tidal estuary, eateries, shops and links golf course or head out and explore Snowdonia National Park.

Nestled along the edge of Snowdonia National Park and with outstanding outdoor adventures to be had (and fetched) within easy reach, this luxury coastal house is the perfect retreat for a family and furry companion. Set in the heart of Aberdovey where views across the mountains meets the – dog friendly – coast, here you can unleash plenty of family-filled escapades, whether on land or at sea. The property itself sits in an elevated position with panoramic sea views and makes the ideal base for a large family or group holiday…and with Fido welcome too, everyone can have a ball.

Walk in through the hall to a spectacular kitchen and dining area; open plan and with a stylish, sleek finish there’s a large modern table to gather around and floor-to-ceiling picture windows and doors that take you out onto the balcony where you can witness stunning views. The downstairs boot room and utility is a handy space to peel wet clothes from children and wash muddy paws! Retire to the bright, contemporary lounge for the evening where your canine companion can warm themselves on the rug in front of the wood burner or wrap up and step through the glass doors and onto the balcony to witness the sun going down across the Cardigan Bay. On the lower ground floor there are four stunning bedrooms, all offering sea views to wake up to. The super-king bedroom has access to the garden, as well as an ensuite and the king-size bedroom also has a shower room. For an extra touch of luxury there is underfloor heating in the family bathroom. Outside, have a ball in the lower garden, which is completely enclosed and the balcony and patio area present the most incredible seaside views; so whether you want to enjoy a sundowner or indulge in a little yoga on the balcony, you can downward dog in the most spectacular of surroundings. To the side of the house is a wash down area for bikes…and bow-wows and there is plenty of storage space to house paddleboards, canoes and to dry wetsuits.

Located in an area famed for its outdoor lifestyle, Aberdovey offers plenty of holiday pursuits, including walking, cycling, sea swimming, windsurfing and canoeing. And there’s also the well-known championships league Aberdovey Golf Course, as well as the beautiful dog-friendly beach! Set on the northern edge of the Dyfi Estuary and on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, Aberdovey is a thriving village with harbour, shops, cafes and galleries. Sitting just 15 miles away, visit the iconic Dolgoch Falls, where doggos are welcome if on a lead, or take Roman Road and the Picnic Island route for estuary and mountain vistas.

Beautiful comfortable house with stunning views. We were a family of four generations, the hill up to the house is very steep, it was challenging for an older member and the pushchair. Aberdovey is lovely, a good choice of cafes, pubs, sandwich shops, would definitely return.

Fabulous house in a fabulous setting with stunning views out to sea. Able to walk down into the village and coped with the hill back up. Had lovely meals at Coast with added bonus of being dog friendly, as was the Dovey Pub. Nice walks up into the hills or down on the beach.

Such a fantastic house. The views are spectacular and well worth the climb up the hill, which as others have said is very steep and hard work (but gets easier as the week goes by). Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Little extra touches would be nice such as a welcome pack and a a visitors book (these are often a great way to find out aboutRead more local places to visit) but wed definitely return. Hide

Outstanding views of the sea. The balcony areas were lovely and you could also see the sea from the bedrooms. Lovely open plan kitchen / diner and a good sized lounge. Plenty of parking and a good location for the shops. It is a steep hill upto the property, but a challenge and good for the heart. Definitely recommend.

The cottage was beautiful and the views amazing. Yes it is up a steep hill but if you did not have to go up a hill you would not get the views.
