If it’s dramatic scenery you’re after, head to Llantwit Major (4.5 miles), where you can join the Wales Coast Path for a wild and windy cliff-top hike. For a traditional day at the seaside, journey to Ogmore-by-Sea (9.5 miles), which has a vast expanse of golden sand and welcomes woofers all year.
