Beautiful, village centre, dog-friendly holiday cottage enjoying spectacular views towards Giltar Point and access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
Gaze out across the golf course towards Giltar Point and the sea, while your happy hound soaks up the sunshine at this holiday retreat in Penally, 2 miles from Tenby in Wales. Sleeping four guests, the traditional, two-bedroom cottage is also a paws-down success for happy hounds and their owners eager to be close to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path and the beach.
Inside the inviting, stone cottage, you will discover a part reverse-level layout, designed to maximise the coastal views. At ground-floor level, there is a bright kitchen with ample space for food storage and preparation, plus a breakfast bar to perch at with a cup of coffee, and a door through to a sunroom where you can dine while enjoying the views. Open the door from here onto the courtyard garden so your furry friend can step out to take the sea air. A double bedroom and a family shower room are also downstairs. The comfortable lounge, where your happy hound can stretch out while you take in the sweeping coastal vistas or watch the Smart TV, is on the first floor, together with a king-size bedroom and a TV. The sun-soaked courtyard garden is the perfect place to dine outside and relax on warm evenings over a glass of wine, with your canine companion by your side.
Follow a footpath 600 metres down to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path then strike out in either direction to stretch furry legs. Enjoy a circular, 6.5-mile walk to Lydstep, taking the coastal path then looping back through picturesque countryside. Dogs can run free on the southern stretch of the sandy beach at Lydstep all year round. Book a boat trip over to Caldey Island from Tenby, taking your faithful friend along with you for the adventure.
