Beautifully presented, two-bedroom, holiday cottage within easy reach of Saundersfoot and its many attractions.

Spend summer days watching sandy paws splash in the salty water and balmy evenings playing with your four-legged friend out in the garden at this bright cottage at Kilgetty in Pembrokeshire. Sleeping four guests, the single-storey, two-bedroom retreat is 2 miles from the Welsh coastal resort of Saundersfoot and has much to offer pup-loving holidaymakers.

Climb the exterior steps up to the enclosed courtyard then let your family, friends and four-legged companion in to discover their new home from home. The kitchen is well equipped for preparing home-cooked feasts during your stay. It leads into an open-plan lounge/diner, where you can enjoy meals at the table and movies on the TV as you relax on one of the plump sofas, while Rex steals forty winks on the rug close by. Bid him good night, then make your way along the corridor to one of the two double bedrooms. The family bathroom is also down here. Take your pal out into the lawned garden to stretch his legs when he awakes then have breakfast in the sunny courtyard. As the day draws to a close, fire up the BBQ and perhaps even the fire pit as he pads about the garden.

Grab buckets, spades and dog towels and head off to the sandy beach at Saundersfoot, where dogs are welcome at the northern end all year round. Pick up the Pembrokeshire Coast Path here too and venture off in either direction with your happy hound at your heel. Attempt the 4.5-mile stretch to Tenby, for example. Find dog-friendly cafes and pubs here where your pal will be rewarded with a brimming bowl of water. He is also welcome to join you on boat trips from the town.

Had a lovely weekend at the bungalow. Was met by the owner who is very friendly. Lovely welcome basket. Beds are very comfortable. Location is great and no problem parking. If you have limited mobility just to let you know steep steps up to property and in the back garden.. Very enjoyable.

A beautifully decorated cottage in a quiet location with beautiful views. The only problem could be with the amount of steep steps leading to the property and again to the garden. Apart from this Driftwood cottage is an ideal place for a holiday in West Wales.
