Situated in the beautiful Lake District, just 350 metres from Keswick town centre, is this spacious three-storey property. With plenty of room for everyone to enjoy, it’s a great base for a large family or group of friends who want to explore the surrounding mountains and fells with two of their four-legged friends.

Comfortable furnishings and cheerful decor make this a homely place. The ground-floor lounge is a relaxing space with a huge bay window that floods the room with light. After a day out hiking, it’s the perfect spot for you and your hound to unwind with its plump sofas, TV, and electric fire. Off from the lounge is a galley kitchen and dining room with a sociable table where everyone can gather for a meal and contemplate the day’s activities. The dining room’s wood-panelled flooring means your pet can also sit and watch while you eat. On the first floor, you’ll find a family bathroom and two light and airy king-size bedrooms. Both are furnished in soothing pastel tones with one offering up glorious views of the fells. A snug room on this floor will also be a hit with the children with its TV, sofa, and board games. On the second floor, you’ll find a pretty twin and single bed and a free-standing bath in the bathroom – perfect for soaking sore muscles after a day out exploring. Outside, a small yard is a good spot for a morning coffee or evening drink and playtime with your pet.

From the property, it’s a 350-metre walk to Keswick town centre with its restaurants, pubs, and cafes. The friendly locals are always ready to welcome you, so you and your pet can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat together. For a walk in nature that the whole family can enjoy, head 0.5 miles to Derwentwater. It’s a beautiful 10-mile walk around the lake or if you prefer, you can soak up the stunning views from a canoe or kayak. For a top day out with your dog, head 5.5 miles to Catbells and climb to the summit. The local fells of Skiddaw (5 miles away) and Blencathra (6.5 miles away) also offer excellent hiking trails.

An absolutely fantastic property. We booked for the Christmas week and had a great time. The property was decorated for Christmas and with a Christmas tree too! It was spacious, super clean and very cosey and comfortable. It was located in a nice quiet street and only a few mins walk to the town! Ideal. Excellent comfortable accommodation for 7 of us and 2 dogs. There was a lovely welcome hospitality basket waiting for us when we arrived. Beautiful cottage in an ideal location and close to the town centre. We had a great weekend and would love to return in the future.

A great location on the edge of town, and a nicely appointed, spacious property. It's got a good sized lounge, with plenty of seating, so is very comfortable. Six of us and a dog have stayed there twice now. As with anywhere in the Lakes, parking places are a bit competitive, but we've had no problems finding space on the street. Would recommend.

Really great location, and very well equipped. Plenty of space and the kids couldnt believe there were 3 TVs! Plenty of crockery and cutlery, and all youd need in a kitchen - often holiday cottages have only the bare minimum. Some great walks and boat trips and lake swims. Thank you!

Enjoyed the holiday. The house worked well for a 3 generation family group of 6 people. It was especially good to have a properly equiped kitchen! Managed to park outside the house other than Friday evening/Saturday daytime - even then we were only one road over. Very nice, well equipped cottage. Easy walking distance to Keswick town centre but in a quiet location. Easily accommodated seven adults, parking can be a bit of a challenge but would definitely book to stay here again.

The property was fine but smelt very musty, is dated and the neighbours were particularly unfriendly which is a shame when trying to empty a car upon arrival. On a positive note the location is good, the garden is enclosed if you are taking dogs and it is a large property.
