Bude (6 miles) is a lively coastal town with three sandy beaches, and a range of shops, bars, and restaurants. The 60-mile-long heritage coast is popular with surfers, walkers, and wildlife spotters. Take a long stroll and go barking mad at the incredible cliffside views – your dog will enjoy the trip just as much as you. Head to the superb Sandymouth Bay Beach (3.5 miles) where there are no restrictions on canine companions at any time of year.
