Head to Holt in Norfolk for a break and unwind out in the enclosed garden or in front of a glowing fire with your faithful friends after bracing walks by the sea or excursions out into the picturesque countryside. This four-bedroom cottage sleeps six guests, plus a pair of their precious pets, and enjoys a balance of proximity to shops, pubs and restaurants and access to footpaths and beauty spots.

Wander straight into the light-filled lounge to light the fire, switch on the Smart TV/DVD player and settle down with your contented canines for an hour or two of rest and relaxation. When your cheerful chums start requesting their supper, take them through to the kitchen, where you can also whip up yours. Next door is a utility room, with a washing machine and tumble dryer for rinsing through clothes and dog towels after country walks. Sit down to eat in the dining room, to the backdrop of a roaring wood burner, while your chums enjoy a quick 40 winks in its cosy heat. There’s a family shower room downstairs and a bathroom upstairs, together with a king-size bedroom and a double. Climb up to the floor above to discover two singles. Let your pals frolic in the garden while you have breakfast in the fresh air or light the BBQ later in the day. There’s parking for one car with the cottage and more space in a pay cark park, less than 200 metres away, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Grab a beach bag and take the pups to Weybourne, 4 miles away, where they can enjoy their freedom all year round. Head to the famous Blickling Hall, 10 miles away, where they can burn energy with walks across the 4,600-acre estate then join you in the cafe later for a doggy ice cream.

  • Can be booked together with 87147 to accommodate a maximum of 11 guests

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £250 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £30. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Overall we liked the property. It was comfy, well equipped, in an ideal location and we had a lovely break in Holt. However, it was disappointing there was only one shower and it was broken when we arrived. The shower head had come off which meant we could only use the shower by holding the hose. When we phoned the agent we received a yes, we know Read moreabout that and the owner had been informed without any indication as to when it would be fixed. We were left hanging which was a shame. A fabulous, tastefully decorated house. Very clean and comfortable and so well equipped. Completely enclosed garden and perfect location for the shops, cafes, restaurants. Also fabulous dog walks, all within walking distance, especially Spouts Hill country park which. has a beautiful pond, stream and wild flower meadows. Holt is a wonderful place to stay. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. It is a real bonus when holidaying with family and preparing some family dinners to have a dish washer. Local restaurants and all amenities are within walking distance.

Perfect location, clean well equipped home. Fully enclosed garden excellent for the dog and not over looked either. Gap between Hand rail on stairs was a bit narrow in places but fine if you weren't relying on it to hold onto. Sorting office were not too noisy and there weren't any disruptions to sleep.
