This quirky beach house with lots of character in the lovely village of Ogmore-by-Sea is a great place for families and groups to get together and enjoy the beach life.
Dog loving families will enjoy every moment of their stay at this spacious property. It has partial sea views from both the house and its large, enclosed back garden. It can house up to eight people and is only metres away from the beautiful Glamorgan Heritage Coast.
The property itself looks like a bungalow from the front door, but it’s actually split level and filled with light. The entrance hallway leads to an open wooden split staircase, though two of the four bedrooms are also accessed from the hall. One has a double bed while the other has bunks - perfect for sharing children. Guests in these rooms can use the family bathroom. The other bedrooms are another double with a shower room en-suite, while the fourth bedroom is also a double with an en-suite shower room too. While the bedrooms are comfortable, with some benefitting from sea views, it’s the open-plan lounge and kitchen that gives this property a real wow factor. Guests can sit at the breakfast bar or around the dining table to gaze out of the windows to the sea beyond. There is also a summer room with two rocking chairs to really kick back and relax - dogs often come in here to warm themselves in the sun. Outside, there is an enclosed garden which has access to the open-plan kitchen that helps guests take advantage of any opportunity for al fresco dining.
The property is between Ogmore-by Sea beach and Southerdown Bay. Guests and their four-legged friends will love walking along the coast where it’s also possible to go rock pooling or fossil hunting.
