You and the woofers can enjoy day trips to Bude, Clovelly, or the Tamar Valley (all within 25 miles) from this property. Sleeping four guests and two hounds, the property is ideal for a small family or two couples. As well as an enclosed patio, you’ll have some wonderful on-site facilities, including a heated indoor pool and fishing lake. Onsite is a gate that leads straight on to the Ruby Trail. The rural beauty and tranquillity of Ruby Country makes it an ideal place to explore on foot. There are many possible routes to follow through breathe taking scenery, with ever changing wildlife, the fresh air and walks will be certain to please your four legged friends too.
A flight of steps leads to the single-storey accommodation. Once inside, discover an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with comfortable seating and a table where you can share memorable mealtimes. After dinner, gather around the Smart TV/DVD for a movie night, with the woofers dozing at your feet. There is no washing machine at the cottage, but you’ll have shared access to a washing machine and tumble dryer, to deal with muddy dog-walking gear. The property has two bedrooms, comprising a double and a twin. Outside, soak up the Devon sunshine on your private decked patio, sipping wine or tucking into an al fresco meal. Along with the indoor pool and fishing lake, on-site facilities include a BBQ area and a children’s play area.
Pack your buckets and spades and journey to Bude (18 miles) for a traditional day at the seaside. This quaint Cornish town is home to a woof-friendly beach, with a tidal pool and large expanse of golden sand. From here, you and the pups can take a hike along the South West Coast Path. Heading south, you’ll soon reach Lydford Gorge (19 miles). This mystical beauty spot is the perfect place for a dog walk on a hot day, with gorgeous shady paths amongst trees and past waterfalls.
