Situated in Robin Hood's Bay exclusive and beautiful cobbled street, this pet-friendly cottage is just metres from the beach, offering flexible accommodation for four to five people.
Surround yourself in the quaint cobblestoned streets of beautiful Robin Hood’s Bay – a true gem of the Yorkshire Coast – at this beautiful stone cottage. Sitting up a little passageway off the main street, it sleeps four people across two bedrooms and welcomes one canine companion. It’s the ideal retreat for small families or groups of friends who want to spend their days walking their pup along the dog-friendly beach, and their evenings enjoying leisurely dinners with their loved ones.
Take the low stone steps to the entrance, step inside, and you’ll find a vestibule where you can store all of your dog-walking gear. Stroll on through to the lounge and make yourself at home before you head on through to the compact kitchen to rustle up some dinner. Dine at the table by the window in the lounge and then pour yourself a glass of wine, slip onto a sofa and chat late into the night while your pup stretches out in front of the electric fire. At the end of the day, you’ll find two lovely bedrooms upstairs. Also, just across the cottage’s path, you’ll discover a self-contained annexe – an excellent accommodation option if you’d like to extend your group up to five guests.
The beach at Robin’s Hood Bay (0.5 miles) has a powerful, natural beauty all of its own – and it’s dog friendly all year round. As you enjoy some spectacular walks beneath its craggy cliffs, keep your eyes open for ammonites and footprints from the Jurassic period. Alternatively, take your pup for a walk at Falling Foss waterfall (5.5 miles). Make sure you check out the enchanting Falling Foss Tea Garden. Originally built as a gamekeeper’s lodge in the 18th century, it’s been serving tea since the 1930s. It’s dog-friendly too.
