This beautiful property combines home comforts with plenty of style. With a luxury bathroom, flexible accommodation and many attractions nearby, it’s the perfect choice for a relaxing break.
The elegant property sleeps four guests and two waggy-tailed companions, making it ideal for couples and small families. There are some fantastic dog-friendly attractions nearby, including the stone circles at Avebury (21 miles). The holiday home is full of luxurious touches – make the most of the private outdoor hot tub! There’s an enclosed courtyard for the pups, as well as access to a paddock where they can stretch their legs.
The stylish cottage is attached to the owner’s home, yet your privacy is assured, and a private entrance opens into the lounge/kitchen/diner. The open-plan layout lends itself to entertaining and has ample room for you and the pups to spread out and relax. Recline on the sofa with a glass of wine to chat whilst the dinner is being prepared, before congregating around the Scandi-style dining table. After dinner, unwind in the lounge area to watch the Smart TV. The first of the double bedrooms is located on the ground floor, and the second is upstairs on a mezzanine level. This room has a lounge area with a daybed and pull-out bed to sleep two additional guests. Outside, the hounds can potter around the enclosed courtyard. There’s also a handy ground-floor dog shower to clean them up after a muddy walk.
Step back in time with a visit to Lacock Village (11.5 miles). You and the pups can wander along the narrow streets, which have hardly changed in over 200 years. The village has been featured in many films and TV shows, including Downton Abbey, and is a fine example of medieval architecture. There are some fabulous dog walks in and around Bath (12 miles), including the 6-mile Bath Skyline Walk, which provides stunning views across the city.
