Comfortable seating and a gas fire create a cosy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing while Fido snoozes at your feet. The dining area features a spacious, extendable dining table, providing an ideal spot to share a meal and plan upcoming activities. On the first floor, you’ll discover two bedrooms and a bathroom. The ’East Room’ is a twin bedroom (convertible to a super-king-size on request) with authentic Japanese furniture and an Eastern theme. The ’West Room’ is a king-size bedroom with captivating estuary views. Climb another flight of stairs to the master bedroom, the ’Sky Room,’ which boasts a double bed and a partially open-plan bathroom with a free-standing bath. Two large Velux windows open to a glass Juliet balcony, offering panoramic views of the countryside and estuary. Outside, the enclosed rear garden area has stone flower beds, seating, and a charcoal BBQ, creating the perfect setting to enjoy the sun.
The golden sands of Instow are less than 200 metres away, with plenty of space for playful pups to run and play year-round outside of the restricted zone. The nearby Tarka Trail provides traffic-free options for walking and cycling with Rover by your side, leading inland to Bideford or along the scenic coast. Appledore, located just across the water, is 5 miles by road, or you can take a seasonal passenger ferry from the quayside at high tide, with dogs travelling for free.
