This beautiful barn with splendid views is a perfect little getaway for animal lovers and walkers who want to embrace outdoor living on the western borders of the Brecon Beacons.

Discover this dog-friendly getaway on the brink of the Brecon Beacons, the perfect spot for spending some quality time with man’s best friend. Sleeping four guests and one dog, this cosy cottage is situated on a working farm with grazing livestock all around – don’t forget to keep your energetic doggo on a lead whilst moseying around the estate! Whether you’re heading out for daily walkies in the surrounding Welsh countryside or enjoying day trips to dog-friendly tourist attractions close by, this property awaits you at the end of each day for a cosy night spent indoors.

A true home-from-home, this cottage has been decorated with contemporary décor that’ll leave both man and dog alike feeling comfortable and settled. The whole family will find somewhere cosy to curl up in the ground floor lounge, switching on the 55'' Smart TV or games console for a night of entertainment with Fido snoozing by your feet. There’s space for everyone to enjoy mealtimes in the kitchen, complete with a dining table for sitting down together. Completing the property you’ll find two wonderful bedrooms upstairs, the first of which is a king-size with the added bonus of a TV. Enjoy a lazy morning spent watching TV in bed before your pup wakes you up for their first walk of the day.

For enjoyable days out with man’s best friend at your heels, the southeast Brecon Beacons has plenty to offer. Discover the spectacular location of Carreg Cennen Castle (4 miles) and explore this area with your pup on a lead or visit the National Botanic Gardens of Wales (10 miles) on a dog-friendly Monday. As well as the dog-friendly routes and pathways on offer in the National Park, the nearby coastline is dotted with pup-welcoming beaches just a short car journey away. Pack tennis balls for games of fetch on the sand on Swansea Bay (19 miles).

  • Access from the front door and patio area is not enclosed, dogs must be kept on leads at all times outside of the property due to the farm animals
  • There are abundant of friendly dogs, sheep, pigs and emus at the property
  • Sociable dogs accepted only
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 1 dog allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

We had the best week staying in this beautiful little cottage. Absolutely perfect for a family of 4. Cottage was clean and modern and host Vanessa was brilliant. Hot tub was awesome and fresh eggs were the icing on the cake! Highly recommend this little gem and we will be back!

Lovely little cottage. Has everything you need and much more. Great big enclosed garden. Nothing was to much trouble for the owners. Less then a mile walk to the local pub, shops, bakery and butchers. Everyone was really friendly. Fantastic beach called three cliffs bay only a short drive away. We had food at the red lion, and a Chinese called the Read moreroyal kitchen both superb. Lots of places do takeaway in the area too. Thanks for a great stay! Hide

Recently stayed at this wonderful property and had an amazing experience. The kind, generous, and caring hosts made sure everything was perfect. The location is beautiful and peaceful, wonderful hot tub, gorgeous farm animals. Dog-friendly beaches are within a 45min drive. It's a short, 10min downhill walk to town with a Co-op, cafe, butcher, bakerRead morey, and pubs, and a manageable uphill walk back. We were lucky with the weather, as it only rained one day. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay! Hide

Beautiful country location, cottage was well equipped, cosy and hot tub was a great added extra. Hosts very very friendly and our family enjoyed a wee tour around their farm meeting all of the animals, would definitely visit again!

Absolutely beautiful cottage & location, so quiet & peaceful. The cottage has everything you need & the hot tub was so relaxing. Small supermarket & food/drink places just down the road but loads of shops & food/drink places 5 minutes away in Ammanford. Friendly owner who dropped off some fresh eggs & made sure everything was okay. Dogs, cat, Emus,Read more pigs & piglets (didnt see the sheep) I wish Id booked two weeks Hide

Lovely stay at the cottage. Have not stayed at a better equipped place. Very homely and comfortable. Off the beaten track but not too far off. Would recommend to anyone wanting a place in the country.

This can't be a bad cottage to stay at as this is our 3rd visit and we have not had bad stay, if you want peace and quiet this is for you lovely views, and owners are very helpful on hand to help you

Really loved this place. Just what us girls needed for a relaxing weekend away. Peaceful and beautiful surroundings and absolutely loved all the animals. Hosts were very friendly. We didnt feel the need to leave the cottage all weekend .

Spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Owners helpful but not over bearing. Weather was kind and there was so much to explore within a short car drive. Caught the Botanic gardens on there dog day and it was fabulous. Loved the castles and the drive to the sea. Excellent meals in the Red Lion.
