Welcome to this delightful cottage in Mellor that’s perfect for a couple or family, where you and your furry friends can embark on a memorable adventure in Lancashire. Enjoy far-reaching countryside views, contemporary finishes and your own private garden at this inviting home.

The cosy lounge invites you and your furry friends to snuggle up beside the comfy sofas and enjoy a movie night by the fire. After a day of tail-wagging adventures, head upstairs to the first floor, and choose between a peaceful double bedroom or a spacious twin bedroom. A stylish family bathroom completes the internal layout. Outside, the cottage offers two delightful sitting areas. The front patio is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or share a meal while enjoying the amazing views. The enclosed sitting area on the other side of the cottage overlooks the fields, providing a secure space for your dogs to roam and play.

Just a short walk from the village, which offers a traditional pub, local shop, church, and library, this cottage is the perfect base for exploring with your canine companion. Discover the culinary delights of the area, with a range of dog-friendly eateries and gastro pubs nearby. Explore the historic market towns of Clitheroe (10.5 miles) and Longridge (8 miles), where you and Fido can wander through boutique shops and enjoy a meal at pet-friendly cafes. For the adventurous hound, embark on a section of the Ribble Way, soaking in the breathtaking unspoiled views. Don't miss the chance to visit Clitheroe Castle (10 miles), Bowland Wild Boar Park (12.5 miles), and Browsholme Hall (13.5 miles), where your furry friends can join you, on the lead in some locations, for outdoor adventures.

  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £25. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

The view, the view, the view - it will take your breathe away. Owners live next door should you need anything. Tip: if you are coming from afar, remember your teabags/milk etc

Absolutely lovely cottage. Very welcoming, comfortable and just what we needed for us and our 3 dogs. Excellent location with plenty do see and do. Owners very friendly. Would highly recommend as the cottage is great as well as the scenery.
