This romantic retreat sleeps two guests and one furry companion and makes a great base for exploring the area surrounding the Norfolk/Suffolk border. Just 13 miles away is the pretty market town of Beccles – the southern gateway to the Norfolk Broads – and heading east, you’ll soon reach the woof-friendly beaches of the Suffolk coast (23 miles). A private driveway leads to the stylish lodge, which is decorated in a contemporary style. Hard floors run throughout, which is ideal for a muddy pup, and there is ample room for the dog bed. The open-plan kitchen/diner is a sociable space. Rustle up a meal together in the sleek kitchen, to enjoy around the dining table by the window. Spend cosy evenings in the lounge/bedroom area, snuggling on the sofa watching the Smart TV, before sinking into the sumptuous king-size bed. Outside, enjoy al fresco meals in the enclosed patio area, where Rover is free to potter around. You’ll also have access to the shared heated indoor pool and sauna, and you can take dog walks around the grounds to admire the alpacas (just be sure to keep the hound on a lead).
