Beautiful lodge set in owners' grounds in quiet Norfolk Conservation Area providing an ideal location to relax and enjoy the fantastic Norfolk countryside and coast.
Watch tails wag when you arrive at this rural retreat in North Norfolk for a relaxing break. Sleeping four guests and a pair of canine companions, the two-bedroom, lodge-style cottage enjoys enclosed gardens and access to fabulous dog-walking countryside. Set within the owner’s grounds, but benefiting from privacy, the single-storey property near Erpingham is approximately 8 miles from the coast and some 11 miles from the Norfolk Broads. Take your happy hounds to explore the grounds of stately homes, and beautiful parks and gardens within the area.
Unload pups, people and provisions and make your way into your home from home. Wander inside and let your cheerful chums pad about the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, while you head over to the kitchen area to make a cup of tea. Serve doggy dinners here too; find a handy washing machine for damp towels after wet walks and whip up delicious meals with the Norfolk produce you have bought. Set the table in the dining area then relax in front of the Smart TV/DVD while your contented canines stretch out nearby. At the end of each exciting day, pat your pals goodnight then head through to either the double bedroom or the twin. The family shower room is reached via the double bedroom. Throw a ball for your pups out in the garden on sunny days and take your meals on the veranda; you have parking for two cars out here too.
Pack a picnic, grab some towels and take your furry friends off to the beach at Sidestrand, 8 miles away, for the day. Here they can paddle their paws in the shallows all year round. Plan trips to the National Trust’s Jacobean Blickling Hall, just 3.5 miles away, where they can roam the 4,600 acres of scenic parkland with you to their hearts’ content.
