Discover the wild beauty of Northumberland when you stay at this cottage in Seahouses which also welcomes a pair of pups with open paws. Also sleeping five of their human companions, the three-bedroom holiday home is ideally placed for days out on the beach and coastal walks. Take your delighted dogs on a 3-mile hike to Bamburgh, for example, pausing to splash in the shallows as you go. Return to your cottage to unwind together out in your private, enclosed garden.

Find a warm welcome for people and pets at this inviting property. Settle in the lounge in front of the TV while Rex and Rover doze quietly in the corner. Head through to the open-plan lounge/diner to play a board game or to watch something different on the TV/DVD, with Netflix. Top up water bowls and feed hungry hounds in the kitchen, with an extra TV and a useful washing machine, then whip up a home-cooked meal for everyone else to enjoy at the table in the lounge/diner. Settle your cheerful chums for the night before heading up for a hot bubble bath in the family bathroom and to lay your head in the single, twin or double bedroom. Soak up the sunshine with your furry friends in the lawned garden, while the children play pool in the garage/games room, where there is also space for bikes and other outdoor equipment. You’ll also find parking for two cars at the cottage.

Enjoy throwing balls for your delighted dogs on the beach at Seahouses, where they can leave their paw prints all year round. Follow a section of the St Oswald’s Way, from Seahouses to Beadnell, taking you through the Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. See 14th-century Dunstanburgh Castle, 9.5 miles away, where four-legged visitors are also welcome to explore the ruins.

A well equipped cottage with plenty of space in which 3 generations could relax, unless we were totally dependent on WiFi, which was not great. We found the track to the cottage a challenge, though it seemed shorter each time we negotiated it. For us it was a good base from which to visit Beamish, the seaside (for the grandchildren) and Gibside, whRead moreich was within walking distance along a railway track bed (a particular delight to my husband). Cottage is like the Tardis - small on the outside but spacious inside thanks to well-worked extension. Well-equipped kitchen if eating-in; beds very comfortable and the very peaceful area ensured good night's sleep even for the light sleepers in the family! The cottage was clean, spacious and very well equipped. Each bedroom having sole use of a bathroom was excellent. The garden was lovely and completely dog proof. The cottage was wonderful and comfortable with everything there that you would need. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch. The location was superb, especially for dog walking with the Derwent Walk just out back. The garden was lovely and fully enclosed. Lovely well modernised cottage. Loved the 2 upstairs en-suites and the conservatory. Well equipped and comfortable. Lovely little garden. It is a shame the lawn needed mowing when we arrived but we found a lawnmower and did it ourselves. We had some lovely warm sunny weather so it was nice to sit out and relax. Beautiful house in a secluded location. Very well appointed and decorated. All home comforts provided. Might be a bit remote for some but we loved the area which is close to family living nearby.

This was our second stay at the cottage, its such a perfect location I plan to stay again which is unusual as I never go back to the same places, its quiet, fantastic for dogs and walking from the door and the cottage is comfortable and well equipped.

We absolutely loved this cottage. It felt so homely and unholiday cottagey! Its really comfy and in a fantastic location which we know well as we used to live nearby! Great walks straight outside the door. So peaceful! We saw deer, owls and of course red kites. Not only did we love it but so did our dog too! Fantastic Christmas spent at this well equpped cottage. Felt like home. Located in a magical little spot with great walks on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Beautiful cottage, a little remote which was perfect for us as we were there to relax and enjoy walks with the dog. The kitchen is perfectly well equipped with dishwasher tablets, great selection of cooking utensils and basics like oils etc. very clean and comfortable and the neighbours are friendly and considerate of parking etc. really enjoyed ouRead morer stay and will recommend to friends when we move to the area!
