This charming holiday cottage comes immaculately presented in warm, neutral tones with homely splashes of colour and thoughtful touches throughout. The open-plan living space is light and airy, with comfortable sofa seating and a well-equipped kitchen that will make meal times a breeze. Outside, Rover can investigate to his heart's content in the suntrap patio garden, safely fenced from the outside world, whilst you cook up a storm on the gas BBQ provided. Two stylish bedrooms with sumptuous bedding ensure a good night’s sleep will be had by all before another day of adventure follows.
Instow’s fantastic beach is 150 metres from your door and is one of the best in the South West for hounds to bound, welcoming dogs off the lead year-round. The village also boasts a range of shops, restaurants, pubs, a mini supermarket, and a superb deli to stock up on local delights. Watch a cricket match at the idyllic seaside pitch, complete with a thatched pavilion, or stroll the promenade, stopping off for a locally produced ice cream. During the summer months, a foot ferry will carry you and your canine compadre across the estuary to the pretty town of Appledore with its colourful houses and charming cobbled streets. Further afield, visit the beautifully preserved traditional fishing village of Clovelly (16 miles), where dogs on leads are welcome to join you. For extended walkies, try the Tarka Trail that passes right through Instow and takes in some of Devon's finest countryside or the highlands of Exmoor, where dramatic scenery awaits at every turn.
