The cheerful lounge/diner features a Smart TV, a sociable dining table, plenty of seating, an open fire in a stone surround, and wall panelling coming from the first-class lounge of Cunard’s flagship Berengaria in 1938. On the first floor you will find a family bathroom and three bedrooms: a sweet single, a tranquil twin and a lovely king-size room overlooking the bay. A narrow staircase leads up to the observatory room occupying the second floor: with easy chairs and binoculars, this is a cosy space to sit back, catch up with a book, or take in the views over the bay towards Dunstanburgh Castle. Outside, there’s a sheltered low-walled garden with a picnic table, offering a charming space for a morning coffee with your canine pal by your side.

From the garden gate, a short walk leads down to the sandy, horseshoe-shaped and dog-welcoming beach. The coastal path leads south towards pet-friendly beaches including Newton Haven, Embleton Bay and Craster, all within 10 miles. A cosy cottage which was very peaceful and helped us all relax and enjoy our Christmas gathering. Wonderful views of the bay, and we enjoyed walking along the beach, just a couple of minutes away.

This is a lovely cottage with just about everything we could have wanted. Beautifully clean and comfortable and the open fire was really cosy. Perfect location right by the beach. We will be back.

Lovely Cottage, in an ideal location, excellent for walking the Dog and spending time with the familly on the beach. I would recommend a trip to Berwick on your first morning to do soame shopping. There is an M.S.Food Hall along with a very large Home Bargains were you can buy logs at a reasonable price.

Cleaners not been . Finally cleaned at 9.30pm ! Tbh the bedding didn't look or smell fresh . Looked like the old bedding on the quilts and also the pillow cases etc , had been straightened out ! No headboards on the twin beds ,just gaps at the back ! The dining chairs where fold down metal garden chairs , totally unsuitable to enjoy any meals on ! Lovely cottage in an amazing location. The parking situation is a bit fun; not the best place if your car is large or youre not confident with tight manoeuvres. Comfy beds and we loved waking up to the views of the sea out of the master bedroom.

Good location for travelling by car to tourist locations eg Alnwick, Bamburgh, Holy Island. Very convenient for beach. Beautiful sea view from main bedroom and loft room, access to loft root a little difficult for anyone with mobility problems and window in loft room is quite high so need to sit on breakfast stools to enjoy the great view.

It was a lovely comfortable cottage in a great location, right beside the beach. The views were great from the bedroom and the bed was lovely and comfortable. It was well equipped, even if you did have to be Sherlock Holmes to find some of the stuff. We loved the open fire and had it on a couple of nights, as it was chilly. Parking was to the rear Read moreof the kitchen, not by the backdoor. Only a washing machine, not a washer dryer (as stated), no toilet brush and no obscured glass on the bathroom Hide

Lovely cottage in a really great location. The master bedroom was a great size and had a stunning view. The other two rooms however were quite small and had no heating in so when it got cold it was really quite chilly. The facilities within the cottage were really good, kitchen was a good size and was well kitted out.

Lovely place and deceptively large! It's in an ideal location and literally right next to the beach which was the best part about it. The storage heaters which were already set up kept the place lovely and warm for the few days we were there despite the weather and everywhere seemed like a quick drive up/down the coast from this location.
