Beautiful, four-bedroom, family holiday home enjoying views over New Quay, the harbour and out to Cardigan Bay.

Holidaymakers and their excitable pups will delight in a stay at this stunning home from home in New Quay, West Wales. With a bounty of coastal walks and beautiful golden sand beaches to explore, your group of up to eight people and two dogs can spend your days feasting on fish and chips, making a splash in the sea and soaking in the mesmerizing scenery that surrounds the bay.

This wow-factor property has access to some of the most breathtaking views over the town, harbour and sea. Follow your pup as they bound through the hallway and into the incredible lounge space. Stylishly decorated, this sociable room is flooded with natural light from its front window and from here you can see the impressive coastline. Enjoy a celebratory bottle of bubbly with your loved ones in this room before rustling up a spread of sumptuous treats in the huge open-plan kitchen/diner, complete with electric AGA range oven. Create the perfect ambience by lighting the wood burner in the dining area and watch as your sleepy dog stretches its legs and takes a snooze in front of the flickering flames. When it’s time for bed, you and your guests can choose to rest your heads in one of the four elegant bedrooms: one king-size, one double, one twin and one bunk bedroom. In the morning, step outside into the courtyard garden for a moment of peace with a tea or coffee before the day’s adventure begins.

Water lovers can take a boat trip out to Cardigan Bay from the iconic New Quay harbour and spend an afternoon dolphin spotting. There are a number of fantastic coastal walks nearby for keen ramblers and dog walkers to enjoy – take the route south from New Quay to Llangrannog (8 miles) and marvel at the spectacular views as you go.

  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week
  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £350 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £40. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Claremont is a very comfortable house with beautiful views from the front windows out across the harbour & sea . Its in a great position , close to the shops & harbour area , a five minute walk down to the beach but it is a hill so takes longer to walk back up to the house . There is an Aga, an Air fryer & a microwave in the lovely kitchen for cookRead moreing as well as a large fridge & Freezer. The beds are all comfortable. We had a great time there & would definitely go again Hide

Ideal location, good size house . Dog friendly , however the garden wasnt dog proof as the top gate was broken, and went out onto the road, so the dogs could only go out with someone. Unfortunately when I had to contact the owner regarding no hot water, which was most of the week, she never returned my call.

Spacious yet cosy, welcoming property. Plenty of seating in both sitting rooms. Within easy walking distance of shops & pubs. Fantastic views. Ample parking. Beautiful log fire. Minor negatives - only 1 TV in house, would have liked an extra one as weather was rainy while we were there & it would have been easier to entertain different people with Read morethe extra TV. Garden not accessible to everyone, especially in winter, very steep steps. Overall a very positive stay Hide

This is a great house for large families or groups, at no time did we feel short of space. The sea views are amazing. The house has everything you need on a large scale!! It was lovely to park the car and stroll around Newquay and easy access to the beach. There is adequate parking for 2 cars outside the house.

This is a wonderful house with breathtaking views, including dolphin spotting first thing every morning. The house is very comfortable and well equipped. All bedrooms being on one floor is particularly helpful with kids. The downstairs rooms a bright and spacious and just a nice space to spend time. We would have been quite happy staying in on a raRead moreiny day. The lack of outside space is a downside but its impossible to have it all! To note the only oven is an aga, so can be warm in summer. Lovely Hide

My family had a wonderful holiday at Claremont, the view from the house is the best Ive seen staying away, is breathtaking. The location is fantastic, a quick walk into town and to the beach. The facilities in the house were great, and we found the house to be very comfortable - didnt want to leave! Overall a fantastic stay.

This is a incredible property, in an enviable location where you can enjoy the stunning views of Newquay Harbour from most rooms. We were fortunate to spot the resident dolphins a number of times. The kitchen was equipped beyond our expectations so we were able to prepare a number of meals which we enjoyed at the large dining table. The log burner Read morewas well utilised and we enjoyed cost evenings watching the flames. Parking outside was also not a problem. Hide
