This stylish and spacious barn is set in a stunning spot just 2 miles from the Hartland Peninsula, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Sitting in a stylish complex of properties just 2 miles from the Atlantic coast, this beautiful barn sleeps six people over three bedrooms and welcomes two canine companions. Perfectly located on the Devon/Cornwall border, it’s a fabulous accommodation option for families or groups of friends who want to explore the beauty of both counties with their faithful friends by their side. Both you and your pups will adore invigorating strolls along the South West Coast Path, and lazy evenings snuggled up in front of the barn’s glowing wood burner.
Thoughtful features like limestone flooring with underfloor heating and exposed beams make you feel instantly welcome when you step inside this barn. Take some time to make yourself at home before heading to the kitchen to cook some dinner and gather everyone together around the dining table to eat. Alternatively, make your way out to the patio to fire up the charcoal BBQ. The garden is enclosed, so your pups can run free while you dine. After dinner, enjoy a glass of wine on the patio, or head to the living room to relax in front of the wood burner while your pups snooze by your feet. At the end of the day, there are three lovely bedrooms upstairs to choose from.
Pups are welcome all year round at Speke’s Mill Mouth Beach (2 miles). Check out the impressive waterfall, which plummets 60 feet down the cliff face. Alternatively, take a stroll at Mouthmill Beach (4.5 miles), which also welcomes dogs all year round. Or take your pups on a gentle jaunt to Docton Mill Gardens & Tearooms (1 mile), where the microclimate enables rare plants to flourish. Your pups can also join you while you treat yourself to a cream tea in the tea garden.
