Overlooking the waterfront and located in the heart of a flourishing and picturesque coastal village, this bright, airy and cheerful holiday apartment provides a fantastic romantic couple’s getaway.
Rest and recharge with your favourite human and hound in this magnificent coastal bolthole in Aberdovey. The property sits just across the road from a beautiful, sandy beach, and you’ll also be close to the village’s fabulous array of paw-friendly cafes and restaurants. Further afield, enjoy day trips to the mountain ranges of southern Snowdonia (within 10 miles) or the historic market town of Machynlleth (10 miles).
The bright and airy first-floor apartment is reached via two flights of external, metal stairs. Inside, a few more steps lead to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which features a stunning bay window looking across the beach and out to sea. Unwind here, after a long dog walk, reading a book on the sofa whilst Fido curls up on the rug. The galley-style kitchen area has everything you need to whip up romantic dinners for two, and the wooden dining table by the window is a delightful spot for sharing memorable mealtimes. Completing the accommodation is an inviting double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. There is no outside space, but with the beach and coast path on your doorstep, you’ll have plenty of options when it comes to morning walkies.
Aberdovey’s long, sandy beach stretches for 4 miles, offering fabulous walking opportunities for you and the hound. There’s only a small restriction on the main beach, with the rest welcoming four-pawed visitors all year. The beach is also a haven for water sports enthusiasts, with exhilarating activities such as windsurfing and paddleboarding available, and you’ll also find a championship golf course just outside the village. Away from the coast, beauty spots such as Dolgoch Falls (9.5 miles) and Coed y Brenin Forest Park (30 miles) are begging to be sniffed and explored.
