This elegantly decorated and stylishly furnished apartment is set in a pretty spot on the shore of the Dyfi, and makes a relaxing holiday bolthole for a family exploring this lovely area.
Enjoy a coastal escape in this characterful, waterfront property on the outskirts of Aberdovey. The apartment sleeps six guests and one small furry companion, making it ideal for families and groups of friends. There are some fabulous walks to enjoy with the pup directly from your front door, including the coastal Roman Road leading to Picnic Island. The village’s sandy, paw-friendly beach is also within 0.5 miles.
External stone steps lead to the apartment. Inside, the accommodation is arranged across two floors and has a contemporary style, with pops of red in the accessories and soft furnishings. There is a spacious lounge/diner overlooking the estuary, where you can dine together at the glass table and relax on the sofas after a walk with the pup. A step leads down to the kitchen, which is equipped with everything needed for a self-catering break. With hard flooring, this is a good place for the hound to set up camp. There’s also a breakfast table offering an alternative dining space. A utility room, shower room, and twin room (reached via a step down) complete this floor. Upstairs, you’ll find two delightful double bedrooms with estuary views and a family bathroom. There is no outside space, but just outside the apartment is a pebble beach for morning dog walks.
A 0.5-mile stroll brings you to the village centre, which has a great range of woof-friendly pubs, cafes, and restaurants. The village also boasts a 4-mile stretch of golden sand, the majority of which has no dog restrictions. Water sports enthusiasts will be in their element, with windsurfing, kite surfing, paddleboarding, and sailing all available nearby. Aberdovey sits on the edge of Snowdonia National Park, and you and the hound can take on the challenging peaks of Cadair Idris, just 16 miles away.
