This North Devon chalet/bungalow style holiday home is close to sandy beaches, shops pubs and restaurants. With the added benefit of a parking space and lovely patio gardens with views across the bay.

Stylish family holiday home within half a mile of the unspoilt seaside village of Croyde. This beachside bolthole provides the perfect base for up to four guests and two happy hounds who enjoy walking in spectacular scenery, surfing the shores and tucking into fresh fish and chips.

Decked in contemporary colours and neutral tones, this tranquil holiday home is a joy to wake up in each and every day. Begin your day in the serene double bedroom with an en-suite or the triple bunk bedroom with fabulous sea views before soaking in your seaside surroundings with freshly brewed coffee on the decking. Step into the open-plan lounge/kitchen and use the well-equipped kitchen space to make a start on a hearty breakfast for you and your pups. Once fully fuelled, spend slow mornings working out your day's adventures, or put your feet up on the sumptuous corner sofa and have some snuggles with your fur babies. The Smart TV is fantastic for entertaining youngsters at the end of hectic days, while the enclosed garden is perfect for adults looking to unwind with a glass of wine and throw sticks for their canine friends.

Croyde is steeped in olde worlde charm, with welcoming pubs, shops and Croyde's famous surfing beach that's just a mile away from the cottage. While seasonal restrictions apply here in the height of summer, the beach at nearby Saunton Sands (5 miles) is dog-friendly all year round and is ideal for jumping waves and racing across the sand. This idyllic golden beach is backed by the Braunton Burrows, a beautiful expanse with a labyrinth of fascinating walking trails and carpeted with rare plants.

This surfer and his retired parents had a fantastic time staying here. Perfectly located for easy access to the beach, the village and coastal walks, while also being peaceful and secluded. When we arrived at the property took a while to find as didnt realise it was up the narrow lane that runs behind the new housing estate. We tried to get into number 6 in the new housing estate property was clean, tidy and well maintained. Close to pubs and beach.

This was our 10th holiday in croyde wonderful place to stay, good pubs, good eating places, great walks and views and amazing beach. This was our second stay at sunbird. We had a week there and could not fault it. It set away from the road, nice and quiet but close to beach and pubs etc Ideal for small families. This was our second stay at Sunbird at Seabirds and it was as enjoyable as the first stay. Were already booked to stay again later this year and are already looking at dates to stay again next year. Such a great cottage in a quiet area yet convenient for all that Croyde has to offer.

A fantastic functional, comfortable place to call home for a week. A short walk into town and down to the water. A sun trap of a deck, even in Feb, with views over the fences to the water. The dog friendly yard is safe to let the dog roam free and wraps the property. A nice touch of a welcome bottle of wine and crisps too, and information on local Read moreplaces to eat and drink. Fabulous break at Sunbirds cottage. Perfect location walking distance to the village and the beach. All essentials provided at the cottage and a bonus of good wifi and phone connectivity. Our dog loved the cottage too. Weve already booked again for next year.

Great dog friendly property. Really good location for us and nice and quiet. Everything we needed was provided, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was very modern and clean. The decked area at the back was a lovely sun trap and the grassed little garden to the front was ideal for the dog. A 15 minute walk into the centre of the village Read moremade it nice and accessible but far enough away to feel away from the hustle and bustle. Nice welcome pack provided. We booked this cottage as it was on a single level due to my wife having a back injury which was fine, however we feel that a non-slip shower mat would be helpful. Also, it would be helpful to have a small shelf or tray in the en-suite shower cubicle for toiletries, and maybe some bigger towels.

Fantastic home ideally situated in the lovely village of Croyde. Both the beach and village centre within a 5 minute walk you really dont need to use the car once youve arrived. All the amenities you need in a self catering home
