A spacious four-bedroom cottage, perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a peaceful base from which to explore the vibrant town of Holmfirth.

Discover this handsome property which any pet-loving pack is certain to enjoy, just a stone’s throw from the Peak District National Park (2 miles) and with plenty of West Yorkshire attractions close at hand. Staying in a dog-friendly abode shouldn’t mean having to scrimp on style and comfort, and this attractive terraced cottage has been lovingly renovated to provide just that. Sleeping six guests and one pup, the property is the perfect base for any small family to experience a peaceful break in the calm town of Holmfirth.

Venture up a small flight of stone steps and make yourself at home in this traditional Yorkshire accommodation. On arrival, you’re met with an entrance hall where muddy paws and mucky boots can be taken care off. Head into the lounge to put your feet (or paws) up by the fire. When blessed with bright weather, you’ll want to make full use of the outdoor space to the front and the rear, admiring countryside views whilst planning the next day’s walkies trip or simply cooking up local goodies on the BBQ. And, when it’s time to let sleeping dogs lie, venture upstairs to find three ever-comfortable bedrooms laid out on the first and second floors.

Set off with a picnic and plenty of dog treats in tow to discover walks from your doorstep, admiring the stunning Holme Valley and West Yorkshire Pennines with routes from Holmfirth town centre (0.5 miles). Should you wish to venture further afield, a trip in the car to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park (12 miles) is a must for art lovers and everyone else. The area is also awash with pretty Yorkshire towns in which to sniff out adventure. Discover Sowerby Bridge (14 miles) or stunning Howarth (23 miles) for an unforgettable day out.

Lovely and spacious property with great view. We are a family with three adult children and it was great that each could have their own space. Clean and comfortable.
