We really enjoyed our stay at Wells Stable Coach House. It was well equipped and comfortable with all we needed. A good location with views over the local hills, and a good base to explore the Borders and further afield. The owners were friendly and very helpful.

My wife and I found this a great place to stay. The cottage is comfortable and peaceful, hosts very pleasant and helpful. The road next to which it is located is has very little traffic, perhaps a couple of vehicles per hour during the rush hour! We like walking and the cottage is ideally located for this, either on the quiet roads or across fieldsRead more and through woods. The nearby village of Denholm has a very good Italian restaurant and a couple of pubs that do food. Hide

A lovely, comfortable, peaceful cottage - beautifully kept & spotlessly clean. There was everything we needed with some thoughtful extras. We felt the stress of life fall away as we enjoyed the view, the horses & sheep in the surrounding fields & the peace. Just what we needed!

My aunt and I had a good and relaxing week. Access to property very good and provide great enclosed outside spaces - patio and grassed areas. Lots of car parking. Our hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful when needed. For nature lovers, walkers and those looking for a retreat - amazing.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the Coach House. We felt that the accommodation could be improved by better clothes storage space in the double bedroom, including a facility to hang clothes. Also, while the living area received plenty of daylight, at night, the light from the standard lamps is weak. Main room bright and spacious, shower cubicle / shower is a good size allowing someone with mobility problems space to move. Lovely peaceful area, but has easy access to the main road for visiting all the areas attractions. We had a very enjoyable week.
