Holiday home located in a tranquil location, surrounded by open countryside and lovely views, close to walking routes and the stunning National Park. Perfect for couples, a family, or friends.
Your next family holiday is bound to be special when you choose this contemporary gem at the heart of the Northumberland National Park. Sleeping four humans and two hounds, your accommodation is extremely stylish and brimming with home comforts. You’ll have more walks at your disposal than you can shake a stick at, but the local area is also dotted with National Trust sites, castles and sleepy villages to explore too.
Sleek decor and high ceilings set the scene from the moment you scamper inside, welcoming you with cosy underfloor heating and a crackling wood burner in the open-plan living space. Natural light streams in through the skylights and bi-fold doors for an al fresco vibe whilst you are feasting on delights whipped up in the kitchen and, at bedtime, there are two bedrooms. One is equipped with an en-suite, and there is also a family bathroom. Outside, the large garden is the perfect place for your pup to stretch all four limbs, and there are two patios for al fresco drinks.
Wallington Hall is a National Trust site that welcomes canine companions throughout the grounds, 5 miles away, as does Belsay Hall (10.5 miles) with its medieval castle and marvellous gardens. Morpeth (11.5 miles) offers an eclectic blend of heritage and modern charm with its cobbled streets and tempting bistros as well as several pup-approved pubs. The National Park provides endless scope for walkies, and the coast is a sheer delight with miles upon miles of dog-friendly shores including the pristine sands of Druridge Bay, 21 miles away. Amble has a repertoire of sandy beaches and a vast selection of eateries to choose from, 22.5 miles away, plus many of the boat trips are happy to have your salty sea dogs on board.
