Sitting in the lovely village of Cornhill on the River Tweed, this impressive holiday home offers the perfect Northumberland escape. Sleeping six people over three bedrooms and welcoming three faithful friends, it’s the ideal accommodation option for families or groups of friends who want to experience all the outdoor adventure and untamed beauty that Northumberland has to offer with their pups by their side. You’ll love exploring ancient castles and wild beaches, and your dogs will adore having the freedom to potter around the property’s enclosed garden/patio.
Step inside and you’ll discover a spacious, open-plan kitchen/diner with a feature wood burner. Make yourself at home, rustle up a dinner to remember for your loved ones, and then get the whole gang together to eat around the large dining table. Alternatively, head outside into the delightful south-facing garden to dine alfresco on one of the property’s two patio areas. After dinner, make a beeline for the bright and airy sunroom and sip a glass of wine as you take in the calming country views, or chill out in front of the TV in the living area. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find a lovely twin bedroom on the ground-floor and another twin room and a double room up on the first floor.
Treat your pups to some incredibly picturesque walkies at Bamburgh Beach (24.5 miles), where you’ll find miles of majestic dog-friendly sand to explore, as well as one of England’s finest coastal castles. Your pups are welcome in the castles and bar too. Or head into Berwick-upon-Tweed (13 miles) and take your pups on a stroll around Berwick Ramparts, the most impressive bastioned town defences in England. After a day exploring this beautiful area, enjoy dinner at the local pub/restaurant (0.1 miles), which is dog-friendly.
