Set off across the shared grounds at this magnificent Cumbrian holiday home with your faithful friend bounding beside you. The property, which is on the edge of the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 4 miles from Appleby-in-Westmorland, is set within a splendid, stone manor. With four bedrooms, it sleeps up to ten guests, has a games room, with a pool table, and is happy to welcome two canine companions.

Let yourselves into your private accommodation via a reception hall and call your furry friend into the open-plan lounge/diner, which opens into the contemporary kitchen. Feed him, prepare a meal for your group, and find a handy washing machine for damp dog towels after muddy walks. Watch the Smart TV in the lounge/diner, head through to an office area for a few quiet moments to yourself or take your happy hound into the snug/games room to keep you company while you play pool or watch a second Smart TV. Open the door in the games room to let your cheerful chum wander out into the courtyard on warm days. Also downstairs is a cloakroom, family bathroom and double bedroom. A family room, with two double beds, and two king-size bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms, are on the first floor, together with another family bathroom. Let your pal explore your private courtyard to his heart’s content while you dine outside in the fresh air. Take him to wander the fields and paddle in the stream in the shared grounds whenever he needs a good walk.

Plan trips into the Lake District, about 15 miles from the property. Have a day out to Ullswater, 19 miles away, where you walk your pal all the way around the picturesque lake or take him with you on a steamboat cruise.There is currently an ongoing housing development opposite the property from The Eden Grove Investment Properties LTD.

  • There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £500 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £50. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday.

Lovely large property, not suitable for people with reduced mobility or disabled as we found to our detriment. Although downstairs bed and bathroom a large step is between the small double downstairs and the bathroom/large family room. Enclosed outdoor space is tiny and covered with large fence, no where to sit with morning cuppa and enjoy any viewRead mores. Restricted parking. Hide

Beautiful, large property in idyllic, remote setting. As a large family with lots of ages, it suited everyone perfectly from the baby of the group to the ten aged to the parents and the grandma. The owners have thought of everything in the property and in their handy guide.

Massive house, ideal for large families/groups. It's ideally placed for lovely walks and only 25 minutes drive to pooley bridge. It is currently overpriced in my opinion. It does need a little tlc, we did find areas of mould and we felt it could do with these issues addressing.
