A delightful, converted barn nestled in the grounds of the owners’ home in an idyllic setting on the picturesque Lizard Peninsula. Comfortable accommodation for couples looking to explore and relax.
This lovely converted barn sits in the grounds of the owner’s home, just outside the village of Constantine on the beautiful Lizard Peninsula. Sleeping two people in one bedroom and welcoming one faithful friend, it’s a charming accommodation option for couples who like to escape to the coast with their pup by their side. A home-from-home, it’s a wonderful place to relax, and your pup will love the freedom to roam around the enclosed garden while you’re busy cooking at the BBQ.
Step inside and you’ll immediately find yourself in a beautifully-light and airy kitchen area. Make yourself at home and rustle up a romantic meal for two. Enjoy an intimate dinner at the dining area, which boasts fabulous garden views. Alternatively, head out to the front of the property, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco while your pup happily potters around the enclosed lawn. After dinner, pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and watch the stars come out, or head into the living area and relax in front of your favourite TV shows while your pup snoozes at your feet. When the day is done, there’s a beautiful bedroom with an impressive vaulted ceiling and beams to retire to.
Take your pup with you to the delightful Cornish Seal Sanctuary (2 miles), which rehabilitates more than 70 seal pups each year. There are 42 acres of woodland to explore and your pup is welcome in the sheltered outdoor seating area of the cafe. Alternatively, head off to Helford Passage Beach (4.5 miles) for walkies. This small shingle beach is dog-friendly all year round. After a stroll along the beach, pay a visit to the local pub - it’s 300-years-old, dog-friendly and the perfect place for a bite to eat in the sunshine.
