A romantic break for two just isn’t the same if you can’t take your waggy-tailed friend with you, and this stylish property has ample room for a basket. Soak in the views of the Firth of Forth as you sip your coffee in the garden, then set out to discover the East Neuk of Fife. You’ll be within 12 miles of St Andrews, with 50 golf courses throughout Fife to choose from, and the owners have included a welcome pack and complimentary Tesla Tour of the East Neuk.
Contemporary and comfortable inside, you’ll soon find yourself wiping down muddy paws in the downstairs shower room and relaxing on the sofas in the open-plan living space. There’s a TV with sound bar and full HD Sky package including Sky Sports for a cinema experience, plus you’ll have the crackling warmth of the electric fire to keep you and Fido cosy. Pad into the kitchen area and prepare a special supper a deux with the range of equipment, setting down to feast at the breakfast bar and slipping a few morsels to your patient pup. Upstairs, the king-size zip-and-link bedroom has an en-suite WC and stunning views to wake up to.
The coastline is studded with fishing villages and harbour towns such as Anstruther (3.5 miles) Pittenweem (2 miles) and St Monans (1 mile), being excellent choices for fish and chip suppers and exploring. The cliff-top trails promise excellent views and a chance to spot the local wildlife, but if you are feeling really brave, there are also water sports opportunities to try. Further along the coast, Cellardyke (4 miles) is a relatively undiscovered gem despite being part of the same original settlement as Anstruther. Its sense of old-world charm is certainly not to be sniffed at, and there’s a friendly restaurant for a meal afterwards.
