Within easy reach of the thriving town centre, this pretty cottage offers cosy, light and soothing accommodation for families and friends eager to explore Keswick, Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite Lake.
Stay close to central Keswick, in the depths of the magnificent Lake District and take your four-legged friends with you to complete the holiday group. This two-bedroom cottage within the vibrant town sleeps four guests and two canine companions. Ideally placed for exploring the Lakeland hub, and making the most of its dog-friendly cafes and pubs, it is also well located for stretching furry legs on long walks around Derwentwater, 0.5 miles away, as well as days out to other lakes and Cumbrian beauty spots. Head back afterwards to unwind in the courtyard garden.
Call your pups into their temporary home and find yourselves in the kitchen/diner. Discover plenty of space to dry their paws after wet walks. Prepare something tasty with the produce you have bought for the rest of the family. Dine at the table then wander through to the sunroom at this level or the lounge upstairs. With a vaulted ceiling, this airy room has ample space for you to relax in front of the TV while your cheerful chums stretch out. There’s one bedroom, a twin, which can be arranged as a king-size if discussed ahead, which is downstairs, together with a family bathroom. A double bedroom and a shower room are on the first floor. Take your pups out into the courtyard garden to enjoy the fresh air. Find parking for two cars at the cottage (access through a 2.1-metre arch).
Venture 2.5 miles to make your way up Latrigg with your faithful friend by your side. Stroll part or all of the way around beautiful Derwentwater, 10 miles in total. Visit Crummock Water, 12 miles away, or Thirlmere, 5 miles away, which can be looped on foot following a 10-mile route.
