Lovely little cottage, located in a gorgeous setting. Great for walks and stunning views. The cottage is cosy, very warm, and comfortable, with plenty of space, and ideal for dog owners. Delia and Alan were really helpful, and left some lovely welcome gifts. The cottage is situated not too far from the Lake District, High Force, and plenty of otherRead more lovely areas. Hide

Spotlessly clean and comfortable cottage in a stunning location. Brilliant for walking and running, a stones throw from the Pennines way and near to other popular, but very quiet walking routes. Near enough to Hexham and Penrith for a day out. Would highly recommend a stay here

The cottage was incredible. It was very well equipped and very cosy. It was easy to find and there was ample parking space. The owner left lots of treats for us. It's situated just a ten minute drive from Alston which has plenty of amenities. All in all, a little gem.
