The beautiful, character-filled lounge/diner has exposed beams, low ceilings, a wood burner, TV/DVD and a charming dining area. You can prepare your favourite dishes in the light-filled, fully equipped kitchen which has a lovely breakfast table by the patio doors. The property also has a ground-floor bathroom, a cosy snug and a sauna suite with a shower, bath and seating in a spa-style room. There are four soothingly decorated bedrooms: reached via steps from the snug, a spacious king-size room has a roll-top bath and patio doors opening into the garden. Six steps lead up to a twin bedroom, a super-king-size room and a stylish shower room. The final twin room is up some stairs from the lounge, and features a sloping vaulted ceiling. The partially enclosed garden has several seating areas, with a patio providing a perfect spot for a BBQ, as well as plenty of space for children to explore and dogs to play.
The Kentmere Horseshoe is a 13-mile walk with amazing views of this spellbinding area. Kentmere Tarn (1 mile) is ideal for a gentler stroll, and there are some lovely places to eat and drink in Staveley (4 miles). The nearest of the major lakes is Windermere (9 miles) which offers stunning walks and memorable boat trips.
